Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your house as well as create cleaning schedules and select the mopping mode you prefer. The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad at over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting mechanism, that will raise the pad when it transitions from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.
In addition to this it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad is capable of rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I used it on its normal mop and vac settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and then return to its base for a recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids I've tested.
It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only downside is that it's expensive. But its abundance of features makes it a tempting alternative for anyone who wishes to get rid of their old stick vacuum and mop. If you can justify the hefty price tag we strongly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop combination. The price is justified by the powerful features, such as a huge vacuuming capability and two gyrating mop heads. It also has an app-based, smart controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop sets available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it did well across all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floors and managing to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops were also great, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion as well as the powerful cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's real selling point is its advanced multi-functional docking station. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag to collect dirt, then refills the water tank for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It also comes with a real-time safety detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions using its intelligent controls.
Contrary to the other hybrid mops that I tested, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops of the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it still requires regular maintenance. The base station must be cleaned out and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately will also require replacement every few months.
Given the L10S Ultra's premium pricing and its extensive features I would recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. If you're looking to save money, I recommend a more basic model that allows you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to remember that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can find but its high cost and maintenance costs will eventually make it more of a want than a need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that will clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet mess then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combination comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for both vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It even comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself as it goes, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean to wash off the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is almost the entire length of the robot and it is supplied with a continuous supply of fresh Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes or swept up into the front bumper. affordable robot vacuum removes the mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements and emptied into a larger storage container. The tank onboard holds plenty of water, and can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.
As with most robot vacuums and mop combinations, the S1 Pro is ready to come out from the box. The S1 Pro needs to be filled with clean water. This can be done in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock if you prefer to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you decide to use this feature however, you'll be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands, allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaners.
Like many robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was fast to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple of times on longer pile carpets and rugs during my tests however this can be improved when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at a reasonable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, and it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system is able to be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.
The software that runs this appliance is dense, offering a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. There's a simple solution to this issue: The app offers an option that lets you "clean up" at the end of each session. The mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces and dust that are left behind after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that helps this robot to clean up a bit better than its cheaper competitors.
